to give you affordable one-to-one marketing advice and support

You know that you need to do some marketing, but don’t know where to start. You have tried a few marketing activities but they just aren’t working. You are a new business, and need someone you can learn the basics from first.

Marketing can be a pretty daunting area to tackle. Everyone knows they should do something to market their product or service, but most small businesses just don’t have the time or experience to get it right first time – and don’t have the budget to get it wrong!

This is where a Marketing Mentor can be just the thing to get you off on the right foot.

How does a Marketing Mentor work?

You meet your mentor monthly for one or two hours to discuss where you are at and what your goals are. By combining your mentor’s knowledge and expertise with a series of questions to really get you thinking, a strategy is agreed for you to action, with the on-going support of your mentor. An outside, independent view point helps to give a different perspective, new approaches, and a clear focus on the actions needed to improve your business. All of our mentors are selected for their marketing experience, their professional qualifications and their ability to communicate. It is important to us that we find you the mentor who matches your style and personality to ensure you get the most out of your marketing mentoring sessions.

What types of businesses do you work with?

We work with all types of businesses and organisations, in both the private and public sector.

Outsourced Marketing

Outsourced Marketing A Virtual Marketing Manager for your Business Just not finding the time to get your marketing done? Got a marketing project but nobody in the business with the time or the skills? We work closely with a small number of businesses who outsource their marketing to us. They get peace of mind, knowing that they have ongoing support, an outside perspective on their business, and our years of marketing experience. For businesses who are determined to grow but cannot justify employing a marketing manager, or have a major project which needs a dedicated resource, this ensures that the marketing gets done. We can work with your existing suppliers or help you identify and brief the best suppliers for your project. We then work alongside them to ensure you get the results you want. What Kind of Marketing Can You Do? In a world full of gurus and specialists, you will be pleased to hear that we have broad marketing experience, including both digital and traditional marketing. This means we can give you impartial advice on the best mix of marketing activities for your business - as we are not in the business of selling you one type of marketing, Our own skills cover marketing planning, market research, copy writing, email marketing, events, social media and public relations. We work with a range of specialists, including graphic designers, web designers, photographers, and video producers too. By developing a brief for your suppliers and managing the process, we ensure you get the results you want. What Type of Businesses Do You Work With? Our Outsourced Marketing clients include both business to business and consumer businesses – plus some not-for-profits. The same principals apply to all of them – but where we do need specialist support, we will help you identify the best and most cost-effective suppliers. This gives us a unique and broad range of skills, which are transferable from one sector to another. It stops us getting bored too! We do not work with directly competing businesses, so you can be sure that we won’t be passing on your trade secrets to competitors.   What our clients say about us "Ridgeway Marketing have proved a great asset to us. Darren Toms, Managing Director, Clumber Consultancy Ltd “When we set up our micro-brewery we had plenty of business experience, but none of marketing or PR. Beryl helped us structure our website, write the copy and plan a launch event. She also wrote news releases and articles which got us coverage in both the local press and national real ale magazines, all of which helped quickly establish the brewery’s name in the area.” Mary Easterbrook, Director, Pheasantry Brewery "Just to let you know that the leaflet has gone down very well. We have heard lots of positive reports from various sources about the impact that it has had - it appears to have hit the right note in the community! Well done and thank you.” Andrew George, Headteacher, South Wolds Academy "I've just received the digital copy of the Grocer, and just have a look at the coverage we received!! It's great! Great job on the press release :)" Anu Sharma, Holy Cow! Sauces “We use a combination of high profile events and email campaigns to promote Insolvency Squared. Beryl works with us to design and write the regular Mailchimp email campaigns. Although I know what I want to say, I struggle to find the right words - she finds the right tone of voice to talk to our market, and I get great response rates and feedback from potential clients.”  Karyn Jones, Managing Director, Insolvency Squared An initial one hour consultation is FREE, so you can try it with no obligation!
