I believe that learning needs to be an active experience, so the courses I run focus on practical activities to improve students understanding of marketing. It seems to work – previous students have passed their exams and been able to apply the skills they have learnt to their jobs, and their own businesses. For small businesses and new start-ups, training focuses on low cost means of promoting their business, such as the effective use of PR and customer databases.
