Having worked in PR, Marketing and Communications for over a decade, Yvonne has extensive knowledge of the marketing channels required to reach different audiences and increase business. Her experience spans PR Consultant roles for leisure and consumer clients with London agencies, to in-house Marketing Manager roles with small restaurant groups, and Public Communications Manager for IKEA in the UK. Yvonne’s career has included product launches for Virgin Vie, store openings for Hugo Boss and Bang & Olufsen, and being PR spokesperson on BBC News. She holds a BA Hons degree in Psychology and is trained to Masters level as a Business and Personal Coach.
Naomi is one of our social media mentors and trainers. She studied Biochemistry at University, then worked in the NHS for a number of years, acquiring an MSc along the way. Despite her scientific background, Naomi enjoys writing and has an eye for correct spelling and grammar! Her small business experience includes running a boarding cattery for over 10 years, and breeding pedigree cats. As a self-confessed "geek", Naomi really enjoys web design and social media, and now works as a social media consultant. She has training experience from her NHS career as a Biomedical Scientist, and puts this to good use advising businesses on social media strategy and blogging.
Having worked in sales and in a number of senior marketing positions, Trevor has gained extensive experience in getting products to market and maximising commercial opportunities. He has worked with small businesses and corporates at strategic level and in a hands on capacity. He has run his own business specialising in copywriting, design and print. His empathetic, listening style lends itself to mentoring. His skills are augmented by teaching at under-graduate and post-graduate levels. Trevor has an BSc Hons degree, Diploma in Management Studies and a Diploma in Marketing.
Diane has worked in marketing for The Prince’s Trust, promoting the inspiring achievements of disadvantaged young people. Her freelance clients range from sole traders to SMEs, as she finds coaching those new to business, or entrepreneurs who have struggled to find their audience and voice, particularly satisfying. As a published author of children’s books and experienced writing coach, Diane’s specialism is creative copy. Her customer-centric approach and proofreading expertise contribute to her unique copywriting and marketing services.
